Layering with a Vengeance

One of my biggest fashion peeves is to be dressed for a weather forecast only to find it change drastically throughout the day, killing my fashion vibe. So being a native Houstonian, home to the ficklest weather you’ll ever come across, I’ve learned to layer appropriately yet fashionably. I loved putting together this beautiful yellow, sleeveless caped pea coat, complimented by this fierce pair of long red leather gloves. My gray floral gaucho pants gave just enough length to keep my legs warm yet short enough to show off these killer stilettos. The entire look allowed me to be warm during the cool of my early morning ventures and vice versa as the temps begin to warm during the afternoon. The color contrast was inspired by the coat of which I knew when I purchased it I wanted to wear long red leather gloves, don’t ask me why. The pants were just the touch, incorporating a subtle pinch of every color to encore this ensemble.

I’d love to hear from you about this look. Like it below, comment, show some love and share it
